2025 Photo Contest Terms & Conditions

The Vaya Moments: 2025 Traveler Photo Contest is open only to individuals who traveled with Vaya Adventures during the 2025 calendar year. Employees, contractors, and partners of Vaya Adventures are not eligible to enter or win.

Photos previously submitted to Vaya Adventures in 2025 via email or post-trip evaluation forms are automatically eligible for consideration in this contest.

By submitting a photo, participants confirm that they are the original photographer and the sole owner of all rights to the image.

Participants grant Vaya Adventures a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute submitted photos for non-paid marketing purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, use across Vaya Adventures’ website, blog, email communications, social media channels, presentations, and other owned marketing materials. Whenever reasonably possible, photo credit will be given to the photographer.

Submission of photos constitutes consent for Vaya Adventures to use the submitted content as outlined above. Personal information collected during submission will be used solely for contest administration and communication and will not be shared externally.

Photos must depict authentic travel experiences taken during a 2025 Vaya trip. Images containing offensive, unsafe, misleading, or infringing content will be disqualified.

Minor edits such as cropping, exposure, or color correction are permitted. AI-generated images or heavily altered photographs are not eligible.

Submitted photos will first be reviewed by an expert photographer selected by Vaya Adventures. Finalists will then be presented for community voting. Voting is limited to three votes per email address.

Vaya Adventures reserves the right to review results to ensure fairness and integrity.

A total of *eight winners will be selected: first place, second place, third place, and five runners-up. Each participant may receive only one prize, regardless of the number of photos submitted.
*More prizes may be awarded at Vaya’s discretion.

Eight winners will receive travel credits in the following amounts: $2,000, $1,500, $1,000, or $500. More prizes may be awarded at Vaya’s discretion.

Travel credits:

Are valid for booking within two (2) years from the issue date. May be used for any future travel dates.

May be applied only to the final payment of a new Vaya trip

May not be applied toward deposits

Are non-transferable

Have no cash value

Winners will be announced publicly and contacted directly by Vaya Adventures with further details regarding their travel credit.

Entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions, contain false information, or attempt to manipulate the submission or voting process may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Vaya Adventures.

By entering, participants release Vaya Adventures and its affiliates from any liability related to participation in the contest, use of submitted materials, or redemption of prizes.

Participation in the Vaya Moments: 2025 Traveler Photo Contest constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
